Emergency services were called to a “well developed” fire in the north-east.
The alarm was raised slightly before 8pm this evening at Isla Bank Mills in Keith.
A number of roads were closed by Police Scotland in the incident.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) spokesman said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 7.49pm on Tuesday, November 13 to reports of a building fire in Keith.
“Operations Control mobilised a number of fire engines to the town’s Station Road, where firefighters were met by a well developed fire.
“Crews currently remain on the scene working to extinguish the fire.”
Police Scotland were also in attendance.
A spokeswoman said: “Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue are currently in attendance at a fire at Isla Banks Mills.
“There is a road closure on at Station Road and Seafield Avenue and members of the public are being asked to avoid the area.”
