Fire crews were called to a north-east bank today, after an external sign caught fire.
Two fire appliances were sent to the Royal Bank of Scotland branch on Broad Street in Fraserburgh after reports the sign was on fire.
The call was made to the fire service at 8.51am, and the blaze has been extinguished.
The crews, both from Fraserburgh, used a hose reel jet to put the flames out.
No one was injured as a result of the blaze.
