Firefighters called to car fire in Aberdeen garage

Fire crews were called to an Aberdeen property in the early hours of this morning after receiving a call that a car was on fire in a garage.

The call came in for the incident, which happened at Provost Graham Avenue, at 1.40am.

A spokesman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to a fire in a domestic garage. A car was on fire inside the garage.

“Two appliances were in attendance.

“We used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to put it out.”

Firefighters left the scene at around 2.30am.
