Dozens of firefighters tackled a North-east house and shed blaze for more than 16 hours.
Four Scottish Fire and Rescue Service appliances – two from Huntly, one from Aberchirder and one from Insch – along with water carriers from Buckie and Turriff were sent to the incident at Cold House, Forgue, outside Huntly at about 9.30pm last night.
Crews left the scene at 1.40pm – more than 16 hours after it first started.
A total of 30 firefighters helped get the blaze under control while some remained at the scene today to dampen things down.
In use were four jets, four breathing apparatus and three ground monitors.
A spokesman for the fire service confirmed there were no casualties or rescues due to the incident.
He said: “It was a dwelling fire. There was no one in the property by the time we arrived.”
The shed was connected to the house.
