Firefighters have dealt with a gorse blaze in the north-east this evening.
Five appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were battling the grass and tree fire outside of Turriff near Dunlugas.
The alarm was raised at 6pm tonight with around 15 firefighters attending the scene at Breedless Croft.
A spokesman for the SFRS said: “There is an area of grass and trees on fire just outside of Turriff that our crews are dealt with.
“It is an area of gorse and five appliances were sent to the scene.
“The fire measured 30 metres by 10 metres and was gorse and trees.
“We received the stop message at 7.19pm.”
