Firefighters tackled a car fire on a major north-east road.
Emergency crews were alerted to a “well-alight” car on the A90 at Balmedie just after 9.30pm last night.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two appliances attended from Central Fire Station and they used a hose-reel jet and had one breathing apparatus in use.
“We got the call at 9.31pm. They put the stop message back at 9.47pm however they left at 10.02pm.”
