Fire crews are currently responding to a call of two male youths stuck on a sand bank in the Dee.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service received the call at 6.33pm, that the pair were stuck, with three appliances and a specialist boat crew, totalling 19 personnel, being sent to assist.
Police Scotland also attended the scene of the incident.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Two teenagers waded out and were stuck on a sandbank.
“They were rescued by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, without any injuries.”
A spokeswoman for the fire service said the incident had taken place at Garthdee road, near Robert Gordon University.
The crews used life jackets and throw lines to rescue the two males, with incident being over by 7.04pm, without the boat being launched.
