Fire crews were once again called to an Aberdeen nature reserve following a wildfire.
Two appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) were called back to the Gramps yesterday, following another gorse fire that has plagued the area since Friday evening last week.
In the latest call, which is the sixth incident in a week, a fire measuring approximately 60sqm was tackled.
A spokesman for the SFRS said: “We received a call at 10.27pm after reports of a gorse fire at the Gramps.
“We sent two pumps to the scene both from the Altens Fire Station. A forestry unit was also in attendance.
“The fire was around 60sqm and we had a hose reel jet in use along with backpack sprayers.”
He said crews were due to check the site again today.
Firefighters were last called to the Gramps at 5am on Wednesday.
