A fire crew is currently battling another blaze at the Gramps – and has called for support.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were called to Kincorth Hill at 2.18pm.
One appliance was deployed to the scene, but has since requested another to attend.
The specialist forestry service is currently off the run, suffering a “mechanical fault” according to a fire service spokeswoman.
Crews are using beaters and knapsacks to fight the flames.
The blaze is the first since September 26 and represents the latest in more than 30 call outs to the fire service.
According to a fire service spokeswoman, the fire was extinguished at 5.03pm.
