Fire crews were called to another fire at a north-east nature reserve.
Three appliances were sent to the blaze at Kincorth Hill after a call was received at 5.30pm.
The crews, deployed from Altens, used knapsacks and a specialised forestry unit to extinguish the flames.
According to the Scottish Fire and Rescure Service, the fire was extinguished at 6.30pm.
Tonight’s call was the twelfth since last Friday.
Police Scotland has said that they will up patrols in the area, despite assurances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service that the fires are not thought to be intenitional.
