A flat fire in Aberdeen which led to four people being taken to hospital is not being treated as suspicious.
The incident happened at around 6.50pm yesterday on the ground floor of a three-floor block of flats at the city’s Blenheim Place.
Five appliances and a height vehicle, along with 26 firefighters, were sent to the scene.
Following the fire, which was put out by 7.30pm, a man was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
A woman and two children were also taken to hospital as a precaution.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Following a joint investigation into a fire at Blenheim Place, Aberdeen, yesterday, Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have found that there appears to be no suspicious circumstances.”
