A town renowned for its annual music events will raise a glass to its inaugural craft beer festival.
More than 30 craft beers from 10 different breweries will be served up at the Rhythm and Brews Beer Festival in Montrose.
The three-day event, which will take place between March 3 and 5, will showcase the best beer, food and music.
It is a collaboration between MoFest – the organisers of the Montrose Music Festival – and Burnside Brewery in Laurencekirk.
Breweries from across Scotland will be at the event, which include the Loch Ness Brewery, Lerwick Brewery and Deeside Brewery.
But if beer doesn’t tickle the taste buds there will be a dedicated gin and prosecco bar and specialist ciders.
A spokesman for MoFest said: “Burnside made their MoFest debut last year by serving up their original MoBest as part of our Year of Food and Drink High Street.
“So working together again on a beer festival was a natural partnership.”
