A city university will be hosting a talk following an excavation at a well-known city landmark.
The University of Aberdeen be holding a talk called The King’s Dig: Unearthing the King’s College Grammar School.
A May 2017 excavation by a team of archaeologists took place at the site of the King’s College Grammar School in Old Aberdeen.
This was the first excavation of its kind in this historic area it was one of the few research excavations of historic Scottish schools.
The talk will discuss what was uncovered during the dig and what it tells us.
It will be held as part of the Festival of Social Sciences which is running until November 11.
The talk will take place tomorrow at The Carmelite Hotel on Stirling Street from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
