Aberdeen businesses are being encouraged to sign up to a recruitment event.
Aberdeen City Council is working in collaboration with the Department for Work and Pensions to deliver the second annual Progress Through Positive Partnerships jobs fair.
The event will take place on Wednesday September 26 at the Town House from 10am until 2pm.
It is hoped that companies around the city will sign up to showcase vacancies, and this will give job hunters the opportunity to chat to firms and ask any questions they may have.
Aberdeen City Council co-leader Jenny Laing said: “Aberdeen City Council is delighted to continue the partnership with the Department of Work and Pensions for the second annual jobs fair.
“It follows the hugely successful event held last year which attracted hundreds of job seekers and I would encourage any organisation in the city with vacancies to book space at the event.”
The fair is part of a £2.2 million project, which will improve a wide range of skill training options in the city to help participants develop employment and vocational skills.
Exhibition space is free, and will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis.
