
Emergency crews have been called after a car went 50 metres down an embankment at a north-east castle.
Police, lifeboat and Coastguard crews are on the scene of the incident at Slains Castle in Cruden Bay, having been alerted shortly after 4pm.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “It was a car that’s gone slightly off the cliff.
“It’s about 50 metres down the embankment.
“Nobody was in the vehicle. Everybody is accounted for.”
Police remain on the scene awaiting recovery of the vehicle.
