An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in a north-east town.
Police and Ambulance services were called to Allardice Street in Stonehaven shortly after 2pm today.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said she was taken to hospital as a precaution.
He said: “We received reports of an elderly woman being hit by a car on Allardice Street in Stonehaven.
“It has happened at the junction with Margaret Street.
“She has minor injuries and a decision was taken by the ambulance service to take her to hospital as a precaution.”
