
Eight people have been charged following incidents of antisocial behaviour in Aberdeen
It follows after the behaviour, which included verbal abuse and other threatening behaviour occurred in the Oldtown Terrace area of Northfield.
Two 17-year-old men were remanded in custody, and appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today in connection with the alleged incidents.
A 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old man were released with special bail conditions.
Two women aged 46 and 19 will also be reported to the Procurator Fiscal, while two 15-year-old boys will be reported to the Youth Justice Management Unit.
Northfield Community Policing Team Inspector Karen Main said: “Police Scotland, along with our partners, is committed to tackling antisocial behaviour.
“Whilst these recent incidents have been dealt with, officers will maintain a visible presence in the area for the time being to provide reassurance to local residents.
“If anyone would like to report incidents of antisocial behaviour which they have not yet disclosed to officers, they can call Police Scotland on 101 or speak to any officer in the area.
“We will continue to work with partners to keep the Northfield community safe.”
