A historic country estate is calling on people to turn out for a charitable Easter egg hunt.
Haddo House and Country Park near Ellon will host the annual event on April 21 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
All profits from this year’s hunt – organised by both the Oldmeldrum and Ellon Rotary Clubs – will be going to the Neonatal Unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
As well as the egg hunt, there will also be a face-painter, crafts, an egg-rolling competition and treats on sale.
Haddo visitor services officer Suzanna Atkinson said: “It is an incredibly busy day at Haddo, so we have to close the estate to all vehicles except those who have pre-purchased parking passes for the hunt.
“These can be bought by searching for Haddo Egg Hunt online at brownpapertickets.com or visiting our Facebook page.
“So many community groups get involved in this event.
“We plan it for a year to make sure it’s a wonderful day out for families.
“It’s a real credit to the volunteers that we manage to put on something so fun, but yet so rewarding for all involved.”
People are encouraged to secure their tickets in advance via the website.
