Drivers are reportedly facing queues on an Aberdeen road this morning after traffic lights were installed at the weekend.
The temporary measure, at the junction of the A93 North Deeside Road and B979 Milltimber Brae, is due to construction work to install permanent traffic lights at the site.
Commuters are currently queued right through Peterculter past the Spar convenience store and beyond Italian restaurant Borsalino as temporary traffic lights at Miltimber Brae cause havoc.
One onlooker said: “The traffic has been bad for around 30 or so minutes now and the cars aren’t moving quickly at all. The temporary lights and the kids going back to school is probably the reason for the huge queues.”
