A section of a major north-east road is set to be disrupted for six nights from Sunday – to allow improvement work.
The A90 at Stracathro will undergo work to the carriageway, worth an estimated £105,000.
According to roads firm Bear Scotland, the work will address defects on the road between Stracathro and North Water Bridge.
Closing at 7.30pm each night, the road will reopen at 6.30am.
Lane closures will be in place, and a 10mph convoy system will also be operating.

Andy Thompson, Bear Scotland’s north-east representative, said: “This £105,000 investment from Transport Scotland will seal any open joints and cracks on this section of the A90, helping to create a safer road surface for motorists.
“We thank motorists for their patience in advance while our teams work to carry out these essential works on this stretch of the A90. We encourage road users to plan their journey in advance by checking the Traffic Scotland website for real time journey information and leaving some extra time to reach their destination.”
