A man was taken to hospital after a crash on an Aberdeen road.
Two cars, a Ford Mondeo and a Volkswagen Polo, collided at the junction between Provost Rust Drive and Manor Avenue in the Middlefield area of the city just before 5pm yesterday.
As a result of the crash a man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with suspected neck injuries. The road was closed for around two hours.
Three fire crews from North Anderson Drive and Central were called to the smash where they used cutting gear.
Meanwhile, a person was also taken to hospital after a crash on the B979 Netherley road.
Police and paramedics were called to the rural road just after 2pm yesterday after a crash between a gold Yamaha SZS600 motorcycle and a white Hyundai i10 car.
The road was blocked for around two-and-a- half hours after the collision.
