Drainage work for the Aberdeen bypass is set to close a North-east road.
The Wester Ord to Blacktop road west of Baillieswells Road in Bieldside will close on Monday for five days.
Finishing and drainage work as part of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route has led to the closure.
Access for residents will be provided during the daytime closure periods.
From Monday, March 19, temporary traffic signals are expected to be in place for one week.
A Transport Scotland spokesman said: “It is necessary to close this section of the Wester Ord to Blacktop road during each day next week to enable the contractor to safely carry out finishing and drainage works.
“We would like to encourage those drivers who would consider using this route to plan their journeys in advance. “They should also give themselves additional travelling time so that they can reach their destination safely and on time.
“We thank road users in advance for their continued patience.”
