An Aberdeen animal rehoming centre has issued an appeal for donations for its festive shoebox appeal.
Mrs Murray’s Cat and Dog Home is asking for people to drop-off boxes filled with goodies for rescued cats and dogs in its care.
Assistant manager Neil Rassan said: “We put out the appeal at the beginning of the month and so far it’s going really well.
“The most we have gotten is 10 in one day.
“We’re looking mostly for wet dog food since we go through it quite quickly and it’s something we can never have enough of.
“People have been very generous so far – especially since it’s that time of year where people show their love for animals and help out charities.”
