A rescue team was sent out to save a dog that fell over the edge of a cliff during a walk.
The incident occurred at New Slains Castle at about 12.15pm.
Cruden Bay and Peterhead Lifeguard Rescue Teams were dispatched alongside Peterhead Lifeboat.
The dog was rescued and returned safely to its owner with minor injuries.
A UK Coastguard spokesman said: “We received a call at 12.20pm about a dog that had run over the cliff at New Slains Castle.
“Cruden Bay and Peterhead Lifeguard Rescue Teams were sent out.
“Peterhead Lifeboat also attended the scene.
“The lifeboat recovered the dog the bottom of the cliff.
“The dog has now been reunited with its owner and the incident was closed off at 2pm.”
