Signs banning parking outside a football ground are finally being removed, more than two years after the stadium was demolished.
Highland League side Cove Rangers played their last game at Allan Park in April 2015.
Despite this, notices banning vehicles from nearby streets during match days have remained outside, to the bemusement and inconvenience of residents.
A housing development has since sprung on the site of the old ground, off Loirston Road, with a number of the homes already occupied.
The signs conundrum has been the source of confusion, by finally Aberdeen City Council has confirmed housing developers will remove them as one of several stipulations agreed as part of planning permission.
Ward councillor Alex Nicoll said: “The council has confirmed that the developers will undertake remove them. I’ll be keeping a close eye on matters to ensure this happens.”
