A world-renowned fashion store is to open in Aberdeen’s Union Square.
It is hoped the Michael Kors store could be open by Christmas.
The news of the fashion chain’s move to the city comes after the Evening Express revealed in August the prestigious brand would be heading to the North-east but the location was unknown.
The new store, which specialises in luxury accessories, footwear and clothing, will open in a unit formerly occupied by Original Penguin.
Ryan Manson, general manager at Union Square, today spoke of his delight at the announcement.
He said: “We are thrilled to welcome Michael Kors to Union Square. The premium store will complement our mix of existing retailers at the centre, and we know that our fashion forward shoppers will be delighted with the news.”
