WORK to demolish a former Aberdeen music shop is due to begin.
Bruce Millers, on Union Street, is to be replaced by nine-storeys of serviced apartments with work starting tomorrow.
The demolition is set to last for around 22 weeks, with parking across from the site on Langstane Place suspended during the process to allow access.
The pavement will be closed and pedestrians diverted across the road.
Project manager Eddie Higgins, of Ogilvie Construction, said the listed clock on the front of Bruce Millers will be restored and then reinstalled on the building.
