An Aberdeen primary school pupil has been crowned the winner of a design competition from more than 100 entries.
The Baker Hughes 10k Running Festival, along with its official sponsor Deeside Mineral Water, asked young people from Aberdeen schools to design labels for this year’s water bottle competition.
Daisy Rennie’s design, which was expected to focus on the importance of staying hydrated, will feature on the 15,000 bottles set to be handed out at the race.
The 11-year-old, pictured, from Dyce Primary School, will also be invited to officially start the run this year.
The 10k race on Sunday, May 14, is now in its 30th year.
