A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following a crash on a North-east road this evening.
Emergency crews were called to the A97 Huntly to Rhynie road near Huntly at around 5.30pm.
The crash also involved a silver Renault Clio.
The male motorcyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by air ambulance, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “It does not look life threatening.
“Two vehicles were involved, a silver Renault Clio and a motorbike.
“We are just waiting for the vehicles to be uplifted for the road to reopen, there will not be an investigation.”
The road is expected to reopen shortly.
