A north-east man has denied leading police on a chase.
Michael Wilkie, 37, is alleged to have driven dangerously on the A96 Oyne Fork to Thainstone road and elsewhere, on April 22, at “excessive speed” in an attempt to evade pursuing police, and driving the wrong way around a roundabout.
He is also accused of driving without insurance.
Wilkie, of Fraserburgh, faces a further charge, along with co-accused Allan McBain, 25, of Market Place in Inverurie, of possession of Etizolam, a class C drug.
Both men deny the charges against them and a preliminary hearing was set for next month.
