A man who stole £100 at a cash machine has been told to carry out unpaid work.
Ryan Gray, 19, was sentenced yesterday at Aberdeen Sheriff Court after previously pleading guilty over the incident at Asda, Riverview Drive, Dyce, on October 26.
Gray grabbed the cash and ran before the woman using the machine could take it.
He also pled guilty to breaching bail conditions and five separate charges of shoplifting, taking seven bottles of vodka, two bottles of rum and five tins of chocolates.
Defence agent Liam McAllister said: “He does show remorse and shows an insight that what he did is wrong.”
