A 30-year-old man has denied shoplifting and punching a supermarket worker in the groin.
Kyle Smith appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court yesterday over the alleged incident said to have happened on November 1.
He faces a charge of stealing a “variety of items” from Morrisons on King Street, Aberdeen, as well as assaulting two members of staff.

It is alleged Smith punched one shop worker in the groin and headbutted another to his injury.
Smith, of Glenbervie Road, Aberdeen, denied the charges, all of which are alleged to have taken place while he was on bail.
Defence agent Laura Gracie entered the not guilty plea on her client’s behalf and made a motion for him to be released on bail.
