Council tax will rise by 3% across Aberdeenshire after councillors approved its budget for 2018/19.
The administration, made up of Conservative, Liberal Democrat and Aligned Independent councillors, saw their budget proposals passed 41 votes to 21 with five no votes.

All political groups in the local authority had proposed a 3% rise in council tax in a bid to avoid making further cuts to council services.
The agreed budget has abandoned plans to cut pupil support assistants.
