
Aberdeen City Council’s headquarters has been turned red and white to show the local authority’s support for the Dons ahead of Sunday’s big match.
Marischal College was lit up last night as cup final fever grips the city.
Finance convener Willie Young said: “The important thing for us is that we’re all Aberdonians and we want to see the success of the city.
“We remember the last time Aberdeen won the League Cup and the feel-good factor that it had then.
“With the Christmas Village opening on Sunday, the Christmas lights going on and Aberdeen hopefully winning the League Cup, we’ve got a lot to look forward to as we head towards the new year.”
