As part of a national campaign that celebrates young people, students across the north-east are being asked to take part in a creative competition.
With the Year of Young People drawing to a close, youngsters across Aberdeenshire are being invited to send in a piece of poetry, music or film.
The prompt proposed is: “If young people had the power to make Scotland a country for young people, what would that look like?”.
There are three age categories: eight to 12 years, 12-16 years and 16-25 years.
Written submissions should be no longer than 300 words and music/film entries should be less than five minutes.
The competition will run until midnight on January 17; entries should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org using subject line “#YOYP2018 competition”.
The winners will be in with a chance of winning an Apple iPod shuffle.
