Commuters heading towards Aberdeen faced major delays this morning due to a traffic light fault.
Drivers on North Deeside Road at Bieldside were met with 30 minute tailbacks due to signalling issues with the temporary traffic lights.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 8.45am about issues with the temporary traffic lights at the Bieldside shops on North Deeside Road.
“Aberdeen City Council has been made aware of the issue.”
There were also reports of delays on the South Deeside Road.
The traffic lights were put in place after a water main burst on North Deeside Road on Friday.
Scottish Water engineers carried out repairs in the AB15 area of the city between Bieldside and Milltimber.
Stagecoach also informed passengers that a number of their services were facing delays.
In a statement, the firm said: “Due to heavy congestion on the A93 at Milltimber we are currently experiencing delays to our 201 and 202 Service.
“Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
