A temporary diversion is to be put in place on a busy commuter road for 12 weeks.
The changes will be on the B9077 South Deeside Road next Wednesday, as part of the ongoing Aberdeen bypass project.
The diversion will allow the contractor to carry out work on the new River Dee Crossing where it passes over the South Deeside Road.
A Transport Scotland spokesman said: “We would like to encourage road-users to exercise more caution than usual in this area as they become accustomed to the temporary changes in road layout.
“We would also like to remind all road-users that additional traffic management measures, including short-term use of temporary traffic lights, will be required at times to enhance the safety of the community.”
