Danestone Community Centre, in Bridge of Don, will be hosting events from today until Saturday, in partnership with the Danestone Medical Practice.

As part of Dementia Awareness Week, which runs from today until Sunday, there will be activities which are suitable for those who have the condition, as well as helping to raise awareness.

Tomorrow there will be a “tea and talk” event from 10-11.30am, carpet bowling will be held on Wednesday and an easy exercise class will take place from 3.15-4pm.

There will also be a “tea and tunes” event on Friday from 3-4pm, and a social walk on Saturday from 9.30-10.15am.

All activities are free for new centre users, with more details available by attending today’s information session.
