Coastguard teams were called after two men were said to have been swept out to sea after getting into difficulty while swimming in the North-east.
Crews were called to the Hopeman area near Elgin at about 2.30pm today.
A coastguard spokesman said: “The call initially said two young men were being swept out to sea in the Hopeman area.
“We believe they were out swimming and the tide was getting stronger which led to them getting into difficulty.
“We got a few 999 calls about it.
“But they later managed to get back to shore safely.
“Our coastguard team from Burghead attended the incident.”
