Coastguard and RNLI teams were called to rescue a man whose yacht got into difficulty in the North-east.
Crews, including Buckie and Macduff Lifeboat, were alerted at 2.35am after one of the sail’s on the man’s boat got caught around its rudder.
The man, who was understood to have been travelling to Whitehills from Inverness, was taken to Macduff Harbour.
He was uninjured following the incident.
Teams were stood down at around 5am.
