
Weather conditions are expected to be ideal for North-east Northern Lights watchers tonight.
The Met Office is predicting clear skies across the majority of Scotland.
Combined with a prediction that solar activity will be reasonably high throughout the night tonight, especially from 10pm onwards, the chance to see the Aurora in the North-east is very good.

To be in with the best possible chance to see the stunning natural phenomena it’s best to head well away from Aberdeen and major towns in Aberdeenshire.
Locations like Rattray Head and Stonehaven’s war memorial are popular locations for photographers.
