A North-east farm could give a new owner the chance to branch out into the festive market.
South Teuchan farm at Cruden Bay has gone on the market for offers over £150,000.
The 28-acre site, which is being sold through Aberdeen estate agents Galbraith, is being billed as a “rare” opportunity for first-time buyers and already established Christmas tree firms.
It has 14,000 fir trees planted – with around 2,000 available for harvest this Christmas.
The site is subject to the Farm Woodland Premium Scheme, which awards grants for planting broad-leaved trees.
As part of the scheme, the land must remain forested for the next 18 years.
