Children from an Aberdeen nursery are happy, settled and confident, inspectors have said.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited Walker Road School Nursery in Torry on September 28 and have now published their report.
Inspectors rated its care, support and staffing as “adequate” – the fourth best of six possible ratings.
“Children were happy, secure and settled throughout the session (that was observed),” said the report.
It added: “They were supported by staff who were nurturing, supportive and responsive to their care needs.
“Children were confident and had formed strong attachments.
“Staff knew children and their families well and understood the importance of building trusting relationships.”
Up to 60 children aged between three and five can attend the nursery at any one time.
