A children’s charity has issued exam revision advice for north-east school pupils.
Leanne Ferries, Childline Aberdeen manager, reminded students about the tips on the organisation’s website for those who might be feeling the pressure.
She said: “Stress about exams can have many negative effects on young people.
“It can affect their ability to sleep, trigger anxiety attacks, depression, tearfulness and eating disorders.
“It is important that young people know they are not alone and Childline will listen to them.
“There are lots of tips and advice for young people and their families on the charity’s website on how to manage exam stress.
“We would also encourage young people to talk to a family member or teacher if things are getting on top of them.”
