An Aberdeen community centre has donated several hundred pounds to a charity to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
Inchgarth Community Centre, in Garthdee, donated entertainment services worth £400 to Future Choices, which provides social opportunities to some of the most isolated disabled adults in the city.
Based at Inchgarth and run completely by volunteers, the independent North-east charity is celebrating its 10th year running this year.
Paul O’Connor, chairman of Inchgarth Community Centre, said: “Future Choices represents all that is good about the third sector where volunteers make a real, lasting and vital impact on the lives of those who need us most in society.
“Inchgarth supports Future Choices through year-round free access to the centre, but we see the charity as a service worth both celebrating and supporting, and we hope the members of Future Choices enjoy some lovely afternoons of entertainment as our special treat”
A fundraiser for the charity will be held on April 28 at the Ashvale.
