A new north-east school is seeking a charity partner ahead of its opening this summer.
Lochside Academy is organising a Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) transition scheme for older pupils in partnership with The Wood Foundation and The Toskan Casale Foundation.
YPI is a Scottish initiative that gives young people the chance to engage with local charities.
The programme will take place in June, with the school due to open at the beginning of the next academic year in August.
A £3,000 YPI grant is available for one north-east charity in exchange for developing a partnership with the school and engaging with pupils on charitable causes.
The final for the YPI scheme will be held at Thistle Hotel in Altens. Pupils will present their presentations to a panel of judges including Sir Ian Wood.
Charities interested in taking part in the project are asked to involve pupils in active research and direct charity interaction.
