The public is being given the chance to see inside a new £6 million community hub before it is finished.
Tillydrone Community Hub will be participating in Doors Open Day in Aberdeen this weekend, which allows the public to visit buildings for free.
The new hub is being built on Hayton Road, with Aberdeen City Council committing £4.1m towards it and a further £1.9m grant given by the Scottish Government’s Regeneration Capital Grant Fund.
The building, which is taking shape on the site of the former shopping centre, is due to be completed in January.
Foundations for the project were laid at an event on April 23, marking the start of construction for the state-of-the-art hub.
It will include a library, creche, IT area, cafe, retail space and a business start-up unit.
Guided tours will take place on the hour between 10am and 3pm.
