Chance to see anchor sculptures together for the first time in Aberdeen

The charity anchors are now all on display in the quad of Marishal College, Aberdeen

People are being given the chance to see 20 decorated anchor sculptures together for the first time in Aberdeen.

The Friends of Anchor charity placed the works of art at locations stretching from Shetland to Stonehaven this summer.

Anchors have now been gathered together at Marischal College ahead of going to auction next month.

The anchors will be on display at Marischal College from 10am to 5pm until Saturday, October 28.

Five sculptures have already been privately bought, but the majority of them are set to be auctioned on Thursday, November 23, at Aberdeen’s Chester Hotel.
