Inspectors have given staff from a north-east nursery top marks.
Monitors from the Care Inspectorate watchdog visited the nursery at Anna Ritchie School Nursery, on Grange Gardens, Peterhead, on March 20 and have now published their inspection report.
They rated the nursery “excellent” for care and support – the best of six possible ratings.
“Children were cared for by consistent staff who were skilled at building close attachments,” said the report.
It added: “The children felt secure and confident and we could see them blossoming.
“Friendly and familiar staff greeted the children and their families which contributed to them building close relationships.
“This had a positive impact on helping to effectively meet children’s needs.”
One parent told inspectors: “My child has grown more confident and developed their skills greatly while being in the nursery.”
