An investigation has been launched after a car was vandalised on an Aberdeen street.
Body panels on a silver Ford C-Max were damaged while it was parked on Anderson Road at around 10.30pm on Monday.
Investigating officer PC Rae Christie said: “It is thought that a number of people may have been in the area and possibly have witnessed the incident.
“I would ask that they could come forward with any information they have.
“Vandalism, such as this, is not acceptable and we are committed to ensuring people responsible for vandalism have to face the consequences of their actions.
“The cost of the damage to the vehicle is estimated to be considerable plus the vehicle owner will have been inconvenienced in getting it repaired.
“Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 4446 of 13 August.
“Information can also be given anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
